HOW RTT WORKS
Understanding the pattern
is where change begins.
RTT is a therapeutic approach that uses hypnosis to help us look beyond the surface of a problem and explore the beliefs, associations and experiences connected to it.
Instead of only asking,
“How do I stop this?”
we can begin to ask,
“Where did this pattern begin — and what has my mind been trying to do for me?”

WHY PATTERNS PERSIST
You can understand something
and still react differently.
You may know that you are safe.
You may know that you are capable.
You may even understand exactly why a certain pattern no longer makes sense.
And yet, the reaction can still happen.
Our conscious mind can reason, reflect and make decisions.
But many of our automatic responses are shaped by associations and beliefs learned through earlier experiences — often before we ever consciously decided what they meant.
That is why simply knowing “I don't need to react this way anymore” may not always be enough to change the response.
This is where RTT hypnotherapy goes deeper.
Rather than working only with the reaction we see today, RTT uses hypnosis to explore the beliefs, meanings and associations connected to it.
Because understanding changes behavior.

HOW RTT WORKS
We don’t force an answer.
We follow what your mind reveals.
An RTT session is a guided process.
Using hypnosis, we create a deeply relaxed, focused state where memories, associations and beliefs can become easier to notice.
You remain aware and able to communicate throughout the process.
We begin with what is happening now.
A feeling.
A reaction.
A pattern you want to understand or change.
Then, rather than trying to analyse it only from the present, we allow your mind to make connections.
What does this remind me of?
When have I felt this before?
What did I come to believe about myself then?
The purpose is not simply to revisit the past.
It is to understand what the past may still be teaching the mind to do today.
Once we understand the pattern, we can begin to change the response.
Sessions are available online and in person.

WHAT HYPNOSIS FEELS LIKE
Hypnosis isn’t sleep.
You remain aware and in control.
Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and deep relaxation.
You can hear my voice.
You can speak, think and respond.
You remain aware of what is happening throughout the session.
There is no need to “perform” hypnosis or wonder whether you’re doing it correctly.
Some people feel deeply relaxed.
Others simply notice that their attention becomes quieter and more focused.
You may remember everything clearly. You may notice unexpected memories or connections. And sometimes something that seemed insignificant before suddenly makes much more sense.
You are still you — simply with your attention turned inward.
You create enough quiet to notice what was already there.

FROM UNDERSTANDING TO CHANGE
Understanding opens the door.
Repetition helps change take hold.
Once we understand where a pattern came from and what it was trying to do, we can begin to give the mind a different message.
In RTT, this may include reframing old beliefs, creating new associations and helping you experience a different response to what once felt automatic.
The goal isn’t to erase your past.

It is to help the mind recognize that what was once learned for a reason may no longer
beneeded in the same way today.
Then we reinforce the new understanding.
A personalized recording is often created for you to listen to after the session, helping
you return to the new ideas and responses repeatedly — when you are relaxed and
receptive.
This is an important part of the process.
Insight can create a shift. Repetition helps that shift become more familiar.
The mind learned the old pattern through experience.
It can learn something different through experience, too.
WORKING TOGETHER
There is no standard session.
Because there is no standard person.
RTT gives us a framework, but the work itself is shaped around you.
We begin with what you are experiencing now — and with what you want to understand or change.
I listen not only to what you tell me, but also to the patterns, connections, and meanings that begin to emerge as we work.
Sometimes the direction becomes clear quickly.
Sometimes we need to stay curious a little longer.
There is no need to arrive knowing exactly why you feel the way you do.
That is something we can explore together.
And when we reach something important, we don't simply follow a script. We work with what your mind is showing us in that moment.

My role is not to tell you what your story means.
It is to help you understand what it means to you.
You don’t need to know exactly
where to begin.
You only need a place where you can begin
to understand what is happening.
If something you’ve read here feels familiar,
we can begin with a conversation.
This is where our work can begin.
