A Space Where Change Becomes Possible

I can't heal another person.
But I can create a space where healing
becomes possible.

A space where understanding replaces self-blame.

Where curiosity replaces fear.

Where your mind no longer has to protect you in the same old ways.

Real, lasting change rarely begins with trying harder.

It begins when the mind understands what it has been

trying to protect...
and gently discovers that a new way is now possible.

Veronica Merzlikin, RTT hypnotherapist

I’ve always been curious about what lies beneath.

Behind the way we think.
The way we react.
The way we protect ourselves.
And the way we learn to connect with others.

Understanding people
has never felt like a profession to me.

Veronica Merzlikin, certified hypnotherapist and RTT practitioner

Long before I began working therapeutically, I found myself noticing the things that weren't always being said.

Why someone reacted so strongly to something

seemingly small.
Why the same patterns appeared again and again.
Why we could know what we wanted —

and still find ourselves doing something

entirely different.

Over time, that curiosity became something deeper.

I wanted to understand not only what people do, but what makes those responses make sense within their own story.

And that question eventually changed the direction of my own life.

A JOURNEY OF UNDERSTANDING

My search became
my path.

For nearly twenty years, I’ve been exploring one question from many different directions:

What helps us return to ourselves — especially when life takes us away from who we thought we were?

My work began with the body — through yoga, movement, breath and meditation.

Over the years, that curiosity took me far beyond one method or one tradition. I studied

different approaches to self-regulation, emotional balance and the connection between

mind and body,

learning from remarkable teachers around the world.

India. Bali. Peru. Brazil. Austria. The United States.

I taught what I learned — in individual sessions, workshops, retreats and community

programs —and continued asking questions.

Why does one practice help one person deeply, yet barely touch another?
Why do we sometimes understand
exactly what we need to change —

and still find ourselves repeating the same patterns?

Slowly, my search moved deeper.

From how we regulate ourselves…
to understanding what is happening underneath.

GOING DEEPER

My questions led me to the subconscious mind.

Because understanding a pattern intellectually
isn't always enough to change it.

For years, I had explored ways to help people regulate the body, calm the mind and reconnect with themselves.

But I became increasingly interested in something deeper:

Where do our automatic reactions come from?
Why can a pattern continue even when we consciously understand that it no longer serves us?
And what becomes possible when we understand where that pattern began?

That search led me to hypnotherapy — and eventually to Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®).

I trained in Applied Hypnotherapy and later continued my studies with Marisa Peer, qualifying as a Certified Hypnotherapist and RTT® Practitioner.

But for me, this was never about replacing everything I had learned before.

It was about bringing the pieces together.

THE BODY
movement · breath · regulation

THE NERVOUS SYSTEM
safety · response · balance

THE CONSCIOUS MIND
awareness · understanding · choice

SUBCONSCIOUS PATTERNS
beliefs · associations · learned responses

And seeing the person as a whole.

Today, this integration shapes the way I work.

HOW I WORK

You don't need to arrive with all the answers.

You only need a place where you can begin to understand the questions.

When we work together, I don't begin by asking:

“What's wrong with you?”

I am much more interested in understanding:

What happened?
What did your mind learn from it?
What has it been trying to protect you from?
And what does it need now?

It is to listen carefully, to notice what may have been overlooked,
and to help you understand the patterns that have been quietly shaping your life.

My role is to meet you with curiosity, rather than assumptions.

There is no single formula for this work, because there is no single formula

for a person.

Some patterns begin in our experiences.
Some are shaped by relationships.
Some live in the way the body learned to respond.
And often, several layers are speaking at once.

Because when something finally makes sense,
we can begin working with it differently.

If something in these words

felt familiar, we can begin there.

You don't need to know exactly what needs to change.
You don't need to have the right words for it.

Sometimes a conversation is simply where understanding begins.

I'd be happy to meet you.

Hear a little about what brings you here,
and see whether working together feels right for you.
